My Work
I’m a coach, writer, and speaker who helps high-capacity women reinvent the way they live, work, and move through life. Many of the women I serve are successful on paper but exhausted by the weight of being everything for everyone—a reality I know well. As a Certified Personal Development Coach trained through the Coaching and Positive Psychology (CaPP) Institute founded by Valorie Burton, I help women create more intentional, sustainable ways of living through structured reflection, practical strategy, and life realignment. My work helps women move beyond survival mode and build lives that feel clear, purposeful, and deeply aligned. Because success should feel as good as it looks.
My Story
My story began in Buffalo, New York. I grew up in public housing and experienced the kind of instability that teaches resilience early. As I got older, that resilience helped me succeed—but it also fueled a pattern of overworking, overfunctioning, and believing my value was tied to how much I could carry.
For years, I was the poster child for the high-capacity woman living in survival mode. From the outside, my life looked successful. I was dependable, productive, and capable. But behind the scenes, I was exhausted from trying to be everything for everyone. At one point, I worked as many as 120 hours a week, pushing myself beyond what was sustainable until my body began sending signals I could no longer ignore.
That season became a turning point.
It forced me to rethink what success truly meant and showed me that achievement and well-being do not have to be at odds. Today, I help women create lives that are both meaningful and sustainable—lives that honor their ambitions without requiring self-abandonment.
Because I know firsthand that neither struggle nor success automatically creates peace. And I believe no woman should have to lose herself in order to build a meaningful life.
My Philosophy
I believe every woman has been uniquely equipped for the life she is called to live. Through my training in personal development coaching and positive psychology, I deepened my understanding that growth is not about fixing what is broken, it is about recognizing and building upon the strengths, wisdom, and potential that already exist within us. I believe balance creates clarity, clarity creates powerful decisions, and awareness creates agency. My work is grounded in the belief that alignment creates sustainable transformation and that reinvention is always possible. Above all, I believe every woman deserves support as she becomes the fullest expression of who she was created to be.
The SOYLA™ Method
SOYLA™—State Of Your Life Alignment—is more than a coaching framework. It is the work that emerged from my own reinvention. After years of high performance, chronic overextension, and living in survival mode, I came to understand something deeply: Success without alignment comes at a cost. SOYLA™ was created to help women step out of that cycle. Not by abandoning ambition but, by creating a more intentional way of living. This work helps women understand the true state of their lives, recognize what needs to shift, and build forward in a way that feels aligned with who they are becoming. Because the life you build should not require you to lose yourself in the process.
